You commented SCOUT, so here's the whole setup from the reel: the four agents, the exact prompt for each one, and how to make it run while you sleep. Nothing held back for a later issue.
How it works
Four jobs, run in order, each one handing its work to the next:
Research: reads your competitors' websites, Google reviews and Maps listings, then compares them to your site.
Strategy: picks the one search you're missing that's worth the most.
Writer: builds that page with your real prices, the towns you cover and the questions customers actually ask.
Publisher: puts it live and refreshes one old page.
Start by running them by hand, one after another, in one Claude Project. Once you trust the output, schedule it (bottom of this email).
Before you start: your Project
Make a Project in Claude called Scout and upload these once, so you never paste them again:
Your price list (even a rough one)
The towns and postcodes you cover
10 to 20 questions customers ask you on the phone
A list of your site's pages (copy the menu or the sitemap)
3 to 5 competitor names and their website links
Agent 1: Research
You are my research agent. My business: [WHAT YOU DO] in [TOWN].
Use the competitor list in this Project.
For each competitor:
1. Read their website. List every service page and location page they have.
2. Read their Google reviews. List the 5 things customers praise and the 5 things they complain about.
3. Check their Google Maps listing: categories, opening hours, services listed.
Then compare against MY site pages (in this Project).
Output one table: search a customer would type | which competitors have a page for it | do I have one (yes/no).
Only list searches where at least one competitor has a page and I don't.Agent 2: Strategy
You are my strategy agent. Here is the research table: [PASTE TABLE].
Pick ONE search to build a page for this week. Rank by:
1. How likely someone typing it is ready to book or call (urgent beats curious).
2. How many competitors already rank for it (some competition = proven demand).
3. Whether I actually offer it and can deliver it well.
Give me the winner, one line on why, and the runner-up for next week.Agent 3: Writer
You are my writing agent. Write one web page for the search: [WINNING SEARCH].
Use only real facts from this Project: my prices, the towns I cover, the questions customers ask me.
Structure:
- A headline that matches the search, word for word where it reads naturally
- Two short paragraphs: the problem, then how I fix it and how fast
- Prices (from my list; never invent a price)
- Areas covered (list the towns)
- 5 FAQs taken from my real customer questions, answered plainly
- One clear call to action with my phone number: [NUMBER]
Write like a local tradesperson talking, not a marketing agency. No made-up reviews, stats or guarantees.Agent 4: Publisher
You are my publishing agent.
1. Check this page against how Google and AI assistants pick answers: clear headline, a direct answer in the first two lines, FAQs, the town names, a phone number. List anything missing and fix it.
2. Give me the final page as clean HTML I can paste into my website builder, plus a page title and a meta description.
3. Then look at my oldest page in this Project and tell me the 3 updates that would freshen it (new FAQ, updated prices, a town I now cover).Paste the page into your website (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and the rest all take pasted HTML), and make the three updates to the old page. That's one new page and one refreshed page a week.
Making it run while you sleep
Once the four prompts give you pages you'd happily publish, you can chain them so they run on a schedule overnight, for example with Claude Code and a nightly scheduled job that runs agents 1 to 3 and leaves the finished page waiting for you. Keep the last step, going live, as a quick check you do yourself in the morning. A bad page published at 2am is worse than no page.
From Mike
That's the lot. Run it by hand this week, see what it finds, and you'll be surprised how many searches your competitors own that you don't.
If you want this built and running for your business, done-for-you, that's exactly what OptiMAX does. Email [email protected] and tell me your trade and your town.
