6 PLUGINS.
ONE DEV TEAM.
$0.
Run Claude Code on its own and you have one fast junior dev. Quick, eager, and happy to charge straight into the wrong thing.
Stack these six plugins and it stops being one dev. It becomes a team: a planner, a designer, a reviewer, a security lead, a memory, and a manager. Every one is free. Install once, keep forever.
Quick note before the list. This is doable yourself if you are a bit technical. Everything below is free and every link is here. But if you would rather have the whole stack set up properly around your workflow, the right plugins wired together, configured, and pointed at your actual projects, or the business version of this idea built for your team, that is what I do. Reply to this email or DM me PLUGINS and I will look at your setup.
THE STACK
Stops Claude diving straight into code. Forces it to scope, plan, and write tests first. A full agentic development methodology built on composable skills that trigger automatically. By Jesse Vincent and Prime Radiant. MIT. 213k stars.
$ /plugin install superpowers@superpowers-marketplace
Also on Anthropic's official marketplace: superpowers@claude-plugins-official · github.com/obra/superpowers
Kills the generic AI-looking UI. Auto-invokes on frontend work and pushes production-grade design: real typography, layout, and polish instead of the default purple-gradient look. Anthropic's official plugin.
Runs multiple specialist agents in parallel over your changes. Bug detection, CLAUDE.md rule compliance, git history, and PR context, all at once. Anthropic's official plugin. Run /code-review on any branch.
$ /code-review
Scans your codebase and PR diffs for vulnerabilities: injection, XSS, unsafe eval, leaked secrets. Semantic understanding, not just regex, before anything ships. Anthropic official, MIT. Ships a /security-review command plus a GitHub Action.
Persistent memory across sessions. Captures what you did, compresses it, and re-injects the relevant context next time. You stop re-explaining your project every time you open a new chat. By Alex Newman. Apache-2.0. 77k stars.
One catch: npm install -g gives you the library only. Use npx claude-mem install or the /plugin path. · github.com/thedotmack/claude-mem
Garry Tan's exact Claude Code setup. 23 opinionated skills that act as CEO, designer, eng manager, release manager, doc engineer, and QA. It forces a scoping step before you build and a review step after. A dev process, not autocomplete. Garry is President and CEO of Y Combinator. MIT. It hit 10k stars in its first 48 hours and is now past 105k.
&& cd ~/.claude/skills/gstack && ./setup
A PLANNER + A DESIGNER + A REVIEWER + A SECURITY LEAD + A MEMORY + A MANAGER.
That is a full dev team. You do not hire it. You install it once, for $0.
THE PART MOST PEOPLE MISS
Installing all six is the easy part. Here is where the real leverage is, and where almost everyone leaves it on the table.
01 / THE HANDOFFS ARE THE PRODUCT
This is not a toolbox, it is an assembly line. Plan, then build, then review, then secure, then remember, then manage. The value is not in any single plugin. It is in the order, and in nothing falling through the gap between one step and the next. Install one and you feel almost nothing. Wire the sequence and the output changes. Most people install Superpowers, see no magic, and quit. The magic was step two.
02 / MEMORY IS NOT JUST FOR CODE
claude-mem captures and re-injects context across sessions. Nobody says you have to point it at a code repo. Point it at the work you redo every week: a client account, a content series, an ongoing research thread. Now you stop re-briefing Claude from scratch every Monday. Context compounds instead of resetting. That is the difference between a tool you use and a tool that knows your business.
03 / RUN THE CEO ON YOUR BUSINESS, NOT YOUR FEATURE
gstack ships a strategy interrogation: /office-hours and /plan-ceo-review. They exist to reframe a build before you start it. You can point them at anything. Describe a product idea, an offer, a launch. It pushes back on your framing and finds the bigger version hiding inside the small one. That is a free strategy session most people walk past because it lives in a coding tool.
04 / SECURITY REVIEW IS A SHIPPING HABIT
Treat /security-review as a reflex, not a one-time scan. Anything that touches customer data, a form, an automation, a webhook, a public endpoint, gets the pass before it goes live. If you run automations for clients, this is the line item that lets you say the words "I audit before I ship." Most solo operators cannot. That sentence wins work.
05 / THE MOVE IS THE STACK, NOT THE TOOL
Zoom out and this stops being about code. The real pattern: name the five or six roles you wish you could hire, then map each one to a tool that now covers it. Plan, design, review, secure, remember, manage. That structure fits any one-person business. Six AI plugins running like a software team is just the first place it shows up. Once you see the shape, you start building it everywhere.
WANT IT WIRED UP PROPERLY?
Everything above is free and the links are all here. Build it yourself if you are technical. It works.
If you would rather skip the trial and error, that is the job. I set the full stack up around your actual workflow: the right plugins, configured, talking to each other, pointed at the projects you are really working on. Or I build the business version of this, the same plan, build, review, secure, remember, manage structure mapped onto how your team actually runs.
