You commented STACK. Here's every link from the reel.

All eight are on GitHub and free to use. Star counts and licences come from the GitHub API on 30 Oct 2026.

The catch: "free" doesn't always mean zero cost. Some run on your own machine, some need your own server, and one needs a paid API key for the data. Each one below says which.

1. Higgsfield → Open Higgsfield

Free studio, you pay per generation. One prompt bar for 38 image and video models. The studio costs nothing, but you add your own generation platform key, and that key is what you pay for. There's a hosted version, so you don't need to install anything.

2. ElevenLabs → VoiceStudio

Runs on your laptop. Voice cloning, voice design, dubbing and transcription, all local. You download the app. A GPU makes it faster, but it also runs on a normal CPU. There's no paid cloud behind it.

3. Semrush and Ahrefs → OpenSEO

Pay as you go. You can try it free on their website, and a hosted plan is $10 a month. If you self-host, you bring your own DataForSEO API key and pay DataForSEO only for the data you pull.

4. Notion → AppFlowy

A Notion-style workspace for docs, wikis and projects, where you're in charge of your data. You can use the app or self-host it.

5. Wispr Flow → OpenWhispr

Runs on your laptop. Press a hotkey, speak, and the text appears at your cursor. Transcription can run fully offline on local Whisper or Parakeet models, or you can plug in your own cloud API key.

6. Asana → OpenProject

Self-host. Project management with tasks, boards and timelines, built for teams. The free version runs on your own server.

7. Calendly → Cal.diy

Self-host only. This is the community edition of Cal.com, from the same team, with all the enterprise code taken out. There's no hosted version, so you run it on your own server with Docker. The maintainers recommend it for personal use, not production. If you want a hosted version, Cal.com has its own plans.

8. Loom → Cap (the swap I'd make tonight)

The easiest switch. Record your screen, edit it, and send a share link, the same as Loom. You can keep recordings local, use their Cap Cloud, connect your own storage, or self-host the whole thing.

How to use this

  1. Start with the ones you just download: VoiceStudio, OpenWhispr and Cap. Install one tonight and use it for a week before you cancel the paid app.

  2. OpenProject and Cal.diy need a small server (a VPS) and an afternoon. If that's not you, skip them for now.

  3. Open Higgsfield and OpenSEO aren't free to run, because you still pay for generations and SEO data. The saving is that you stop paying a monthly subscription on top.

PS. At OptiMAX we set up tools like these for small businesses. If you'd rather not self-host them yourself, reply and tell me which one you want running.
