INDEED · The full system
Claude finds the jobs.
Then it rewrites your CV for each one.
You commented INDEED, so here's the whole thing. The reel showed you the idea. This is the system, with the exact prompts. Connect the Indeed connector once and Claude pulls live listings, scores them against your real CV, and rewrites your bullets to fit the roles worth applying for. Run it top to bottom.
01 The setup
Open Claude on web or desktop. You need Connectors switched on and an Indeed account, because the connector reads listings straight from Indeed in real time.
Go to Connectors, search Indeed, hit Connect, and sign in when it asks. That's the whole setup. Once it's connected, Claude can search real jobs inside your chat.
02 The search prompt
Upload your CV into the chat first. Claude needs to see your real experience before it can match anything. Then paste this and swap the bits in orange.
Search prompt
I've uploaded my CV. Using the Indeed connector, find live job listings that genuinely match my experience. Rules: - Location: your city, or "remote only", or "remote + within 30 miles of London" - Minimum salary: your floor, e.g. £55,000 - Only roles I actually qualify for based on my CV. No reaches, nothing that needs a qualification I don't have. - Prioritise the highest-paying matches. Return the top 10 as a table: Role | Company | Salary | Location | Link | Why it fits (one line tied to my CV) Don't invent salaries. If a listing doesn't state pay, write "not listed".

03 Score before you tailor
This is the part that saves you the evening. Most people tailor a CV for every half-decent listing and burn hours on roles they only half-qualify for. Don't. Make Claude score them first and only tailor the strong ones.
Scoring prompt
Score every job in that table out of 10 against my actual CV. Use this rubric: - Skills overlap (0-3): how many of the must-have skills I already have - Seniority fit (0-3): does my experience level match the role - Salary vs my current (0-2): is it a real step up - Tailoring effort (0-2): 2 if my CV is already close, 0 if it needs a heavy rewrite Add the four numbers for a score out of 10. Show the breakdown per job, then sort highest to lowest. I'm only tailoring and applying for anything that scores 8 or above. Tell me which ones make the cut.
// Run this straight after the search
Here's what each number means, so the score is real and not a vibe:
0–3
Skills overlap. How many must-have skills you already have.
0–3
Seniority fit. Does your experience level match the role.
0–2
Salary vs current. Is it a genuine step up.
0–2
Tailoring effort. 2 if your CV is already close, 0 if it needs heavy work.
Add them up for a score out of 10. Only tailor and apply for the 8s and above. Everything below an 8 is a maybe, and maybes are where your evenings go to die.
The bit you'll keep
04 The XYZ rewrite
Google's own CV advice is the XYZ formula: accomplished X, as measured by Y, by doing Z. Every bullet shows a result, a number, and the action behind it. Recruiters scan for that. Plain duties get skimmed past.
Rewrite prompt
Rewrite every bullet on my CV using the Google XYZ formula: "Accomplished X, as measured by Y, by doing Z." So instead of duties, each bullet shows a result, a number, and the action that caused it. Where I haven't given you a number, ask me for it. Don't invent figures. Then, for each job I scored 8 or above, re-tailor the rewritten bullets to that job's exact keywords and requirements. Pull the language straight from the listing. Give me one tailored CV version per job.
// Tailors only the 8s, one CV per role
What that does to a real bullet:
Before
Responsible for managing the team and improving processes.
After
Cut delivery time 30% by rebuilding the sprint process for a 12-person team.
X · context
a 12-person team
Y · measure
30% faster delivery
Z · action
rebuilt the sprint process
Same job. One reads like a job description. The other reads like someone who got a result.

Three things that make it sharper
+ Pro tips
→
Keep one master CV with everything you've ever done. Let Claude cut it down per job. Trimming a full CV beats padding a thin one.
→
Ask for the 3 likely interview questions per role, pulled from the job description. You apply and start prepping in the same pass.
→
Re-run the search weekly. New listings, same prompt, no extra work.
